Letters of Support
The provincial licensing system is designed to replace the current fragmented municipal system and a consultation process was undertaken that included industry stakeholders, government agencies as well as electrical contracting associations.
Throughout the consultation process that took place over the past number of years the Electrical Safety Authority earned the support of many stakeholders and contracting associations who recognized the importance and necessity of a provincial licensing system in Ontario. Many of the groups that participated in the consultations signed and forwarded ESA letters of support for the initiative. The response from these groups has been extremely positive.
